The  summary of my career background is as follows:-

A highly versatile, motivated and Security Cleared (SC) Mechanical
Design and Project Engineer with 29 years’ contracting experience in a
broad range of sectors: Aero, Defence, Electronics packaging, Auto, FMCG Factory Plant, Nuclear, Subsea Oil/Gas, Offshore Wind Turbines, Marine, and Subsea Telecoms. Delivered many innovative ‘First of a Kind’ / ‘Clean sheet’ designs.

‘Senior’ level experience using broad skills spanning Concept Design and FEED, Detailed Design (hands-on use of 3D/2D CAD) project document
approval, calculations, authoring specifications for capital equipment, method statements, procedures, material selection, creating BoMs on SAP,  overseeing ‘First Build’ of protoypes.

Self-starter, deadline focused, with a ‘can-do’ approach. An innovative and Engineering mind-set with strong attention to detail. A clear communicator, both written and verbally. Diligent, adaptable, and organised. Retained on contracts for broad knowledge and versatility to bridge skills gaps in engineering teams.
